In 2015, CTCM will also host the North/Northeast Memory Network Forum, as well as the Afro-Digital Seminar.

The Afro-Digital Seminar supports CTCM's goals of discussing, developing and promoting national policies for digital collections, while hoping to focus this vision toward the creation of a digital platform for Afro-Brazilian collections. The Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the Federal University of Pernambuco and RNP and in conjunciton with the Memory Network and the Fundação Joaquim Nabuco, have produced an initiative entitled Preservation and Acces to Afro-Brazilian Heritage. So far, this initiative has considered 24 research projects which have taken a first step in creating this platform by presenting ideas for digitization, preservation and access to Afro-Brazilian patrimony.
